The 2 CIA chips on a Amiga 4000T main board needed to be replacing, so instead of simply replacing them and surface mount them like before (chip soldered directly to the board) I added sockets, the reason being its neater and allows for easy swapping out in the future. Because the 4000T has modules if you plug them in wrong you could blow the CIA chips.
