Sega 32X for Megadrive recapping service for all board revisions. This service is a maintenance service and not a repair service however recapping can bring back to life your Sega 32X if it shows the following symptoms:
  • No image
  • Intermittent picture

The service includes:

  • Testing of Sega 32X using a Sega Megadrive MK1 (AKA Sega Genesis)
  • Removal of through hole capacitors.
  • Any leakage cleaned up and prepped.
  • Replacement Electrolytic capacitors soldered in place
  • Final testing and video taken of unit working.

This service is only for a recapping service for the Sega 32X add-on only.

Macintosh Colour Classic recapping service (Premium), all board revisions, all electrolytic capacitors are replaced. The Macintosh Colour Classic logic board is recapped using high quality capacitors. NOTE this is NOT a repair service, the Macintosh Colour Classic needs to be in working order.

  • Removal of existing capacitors.
  • Clean-up and preparation of area.
  • Replace all surface mount capacitors using Polymer capacitors.
  • Replace 2 x Axial capacitors using high quality standard electrolytic capacitors (these are not available in axial form).

Recapping the Amiga 1000 PSU is a good preventive measure, the reason being these capacitors are under alot of stress (which they are designed to take of course) however with age they start getting tired which could lead to issues later on.

All that needs to be sent is the Amiga 1000 PSU itself.
