Sega Mega Drive & Genesis recapping service inc Sega Genesis inc all board revisions including Mega Drive, Mega Drive 2. This service is a maintenance service and not a repair service however recapping can bring back to life your Sega console if it shows the following symptoms:
  • No image
  • Intermittent picture

The service includes:

  • Testing of Sega Megadrive/Genesis
  • Removal of through hole capacitors.
  • Any leakage cleaned up and prepped.
  • Replacement Electrolytic capacitors soldered in place
  • Final testing and video taken of unit working.

 

Recapping can recover common issues however if it does not, the recapping service is still chargeable but will be reduced.

The Macintosh SE/30 was released in the UK in 1989 which came with an 68030 Motorola CPU running at 16mhz. It came with either 1Mb or 4Mb ram which is upgradeable to 128Mb. The Mac SE/30 was discontinued in 1991 and was replaced with the Macintosh Classic II.

Atari Lynx recapping service for either the Atari Lynx MK 1 or Atari Lynx MK 2 (AKA Atari Lynx 2).

Recapping service includes replacing all electrolytic capacitors of which there are approx 20 depending on the version.

Note this is not a repair service.

What do you need to send?

All we need is the mainboard and PSU, so please only send the board and PSU in its metal shielding. If however you choose to send the whole unit, there is an option to do that also via the choices below.
