Our Amiga A600 recapping service uses standard electrolytic capacitors. All board revisions (1.1,1.3,1.5,2B,2D). NOTE this is NOT a repair service.
Amiga CD32 Recapping Service (Standard)
Amiga CD32 recapping service, all board revisions (Rev 3 & 4). NOTE this is NOT a repair service.
- Check of the board before recapping is begun.
- Removal of existing capacitors (both SMD and radial capacitors).
- Clean-up and preparation of area.
- Replace using Panasonic/Wurth/KEMET capacitors. NOTE: Rev 3 board capacitors C408 and C411 installed correctly.
- Retest (Video, Audio).
Amiga 1200 Recapping, Modulator, Timing Fix (Standard)
Amiga 1200 capacitor replacement service, all board revisions (1A,1B,1D1,1D4,2B). NOTE this is NOT a repair service.
- Check of the board before recapping is begun (any faults found before recapping will be reported back)
- Removal of existing capacitors (both SMD and radial capacitors).
- Cleanup and preparation of area.
- Replace using quality Panasonic/Wurth/KEMET capacitors.
- Retest (Video, Audio, Floppy Boot, CF Card boot)

Amiga 4000 recapping service (Premium), all board revisions, NOTE this is NOT a repair service.
- Check of the board before recapping is begun.
- Removal of existing capacitors.
- Cleanup and preparation of area.
- Replace using Polymer Panasonic/Wurth/KEMET capacitors. (these will never leak)
- Retest (Video, Audio, Floppy Boot, IDE).
Atari Lynx Recapping Service MK 1 or MK 2
Atari Lynx recapping service for either the Atari Lynx MK 1 or Atari Lynx MK 2 (AKA Atari Lynx 2).
Recapping service includes replacing all electrolytic capacitors of which there are approx 20 depending on the version.

Atari Mega STe PSU Recapping Service
Atari Mega STe 1000 PSU recapping service – NOTE this is NOT a repair service.
- Removal of existing capacitors.
- Cleanup and preparation of area.
- Replace using quality capacitors.
- Test output voltages (not under load)
Recapping the Atari STe PSU is a good preventive measure, the reason being these capacitors are under alot of stress (which they are designed to take of course) however with age they start getting tired which could lead to issues later on.
All that needs to be sent is the Atari Mega STe PSU itself.

Atari Falcon recapping service including recapping of PSU, all board revisions. This service includes both recapping of the Atari Falcons’ motherboard and PSU.
- Check of the Falcon motherboard and PSU before recapping is begun.

What do you need to send?
All we need is the mainboard and PSU, so please only send the board and PSU in its metal shielding. If however you choose to send the whole unit, there is an option to do that also via the choices below.
