How are these brand new?
In 2016 840 Amiga users made it possible in supporting a Kickstarter to reproduce the Amiga 12000 case, the new A1200 cases are made using Injection Molding manufacturing technique to produce top and bottom shells as well as trapdoors and parts. The process implies the use of 3 new moulds, the first one is for the top shell, second mould for the bottom shell and last one for trapdoors and parts, all produced using brand new moulds.

The Amiga community has never died and some have produced some great add-ons over the years to make sure the Amiga is still relevant and useful today as it was back in the 80's/early 90s and these cases take full advantage of that weather that's simply transferring your existing motherboard from your existing Amiga 1200 or have a luxury of installing a MiST FPGA Board. Amiga A1200 mechanical keyboard (also for Amiga A500) was developed by A1200.NET. The keyboard itself has been designed from the ground up and is fully compatible with the Amiga A1200, and Amiga A500 (with optional adaptor board) and is a direct plug-and-play replacement using the included ribbon cable for the A1200 and for Amiga 500 users the keyboard requires the optional Amiga 500 daughter-board, the controller mounts on the top right of the keyboard and connects via a custom U-shaped ribbon cable beneath the keyboard, then links to the A500 motherboard through a serial wire mirroring the original mounting location and ensuring perfect compatibility. Designed into the new Amiga A1200 mechanical keyboard is a modular controller bay, different daughter boards can be added to adapt the same base keyboard to various Amiga models thus allowing DIY modules to be developed by individuals or hardware enthusiasts.   What is Refurbished? Each Commodore Amiga 500 + (PLUS) mainboard is professionally recapped and deep cleaned using a Ultrasonic cleaner, bathed using deionised water and professional grade PCB/Flux cleaning solution. Once completed it is dried and a full diagnostic test is completed. Each unit is thoroughly inspected make sure the Amiga 500 + (PLUS) worked as it did when it first came from the factory back in the 1980’s. Case and keyboard is stripped and cleaned but due to age may show signs of use and age.   What is Ultrasonic cleaning? Ultrasonic cleaning is a process that uses ultrasound (usually from 20–40 kHz) to agitate a fluid, this fluid is made up for this specific job which is to clean and remove any flux left over from recapping. We use deionised water (deionized depending where your from) and professional grade PCB cleaner. ACE2b A500 A2000 2Mb Chip Ram Upgrade
ACE2b Amiga A500 A2000 2Mb Chipram Upgrade

ACE2b Amiga Chipram Extender 2MBytes. It is installed in the socket of the Fat Agnus chip of your OCS/ECS Amiga. It is compatible with these Amiga models:

  • A500 up to board rev. 7
  • A1500 and A2000, Rev. 4.1 and higher
  • CDTV
  • A2500 Rev. 4.1 and higher
The unit requires no soldering, but does require the removal of the existing AGNUS chip from the motherboard. The ACE2b then simply slots in to the existing AGNUS socket and the GARY adapter is socketed between the GARY socket and the GARY chip. The ACE2b is jumpeless and does not rely on existing memory to be present so no ram is required in the trapdoor of the A500 as the ACE2b has the full 2Mb Chipram is located on the PCB itself, the chip ram on the main board of your Amiga will not be used any more. ACE2b uses an ECS Agnus 8375 (included) that is switchable between PAL and NTSC video mode by software. It is compatible with Genlock interfaces. ACE2b starts up in NTSC mode. If you own an ACA500 or ACA500plus, you can fix the video mode to your preferred setting.   What's included:

Amiga A1200 HDISK/FDISK LED Adapter
Amiga A1200 HDISK/FDISK LED adapter provides 2 separate inputs to show the activity of and not limited to, Icedrake V4, PiStorm32-Lite SD slot, hard drives or PCMCIA port using the original LED module on the Amiga 1200 LED panel. Signals for the internal HDD and DISK are transmitted as is, also this module corrects the constant LED light that may occur with some SD or CompactFlash cards. There are also LEDs on the module itself that show floppy and hard drive activity. This can be especially useful when the Amiga 1200 is operated without the original keyboard. Configuration  There are a total of 2 pins available on  J3  , which have the following characteristics.
  • A  = HDD input - (output via HDISK LED)
  • B  = FDD input - (output via FDISK LED)
  So for example you want to show the PCMCIA activity, you would connect a wire to the FDD input and any PCMCIA activity will show via the FDISK LED.   NOTE: Soldering skills will be required when connecting 3rd party activity signals to the Amiga A1200 HDISK/FDISK LED adapter, more details to follow.

CA-PSU Commodore Amiga Individual Computers
CA-PSU Amiga A500, A500 Plus, A600, A1200
CA-PSU Amiga A500, A500 Plus, A600, A1200 (CA-PSU stands for Compact Amiga Power Supply Unit), where "compact" designates the three target computers A500, A600 and A1200. It is the first power supply on the market that fully complies with the original Commodore specifications, introducing cable drop compensation for best regulation that even settles the voltage drop in the input filter of the target computers. This means that the voltage on the main 5V rail will never deviate more then 0.9%, measured inside the computer - no matter if the computer is in vanilla configuration or heavily expanded. Conventional power supplies will either supply too-high voltage to a vanilla machine, or too-low voltage to an expanded machine, causing malfunction or even defects. This cannot happen with our cable drop compensation technology. Technical data in short:
  • 5V, 5A, ripple/noise 50mV max. (typically 30mV)
  • Overload on 5V tolerated up to 8A for 30 seconds
  • 5V load regulation <0.6% typical, max. 0.9% under overload condition
  • 12V up to 4A
  • -12V, 0.1A
  • Modern, high-efficiency DC-DC converter technology
  • Total output power up to 60W
  • Fanless, silent, extremely low heat
CA-PSU is a two-brick solution: One mains-connected power brick and the CA-PSU converter box with the switch and square 5-pin DIN connector to the computer. This moves the power switch a lot closer to the computer, reducing the probability of inadvertent switching, for example if the power supply is under the table near your feet. CA-PSU has the best overall efficiency on the market, with a worst-case efficiency of 80.1% (best case >82.5%). The best competing product peaks at just over 70%, and some original Commodore power supplies have an efficiency of only 55%. This means that with our CA-PSU, there's less total heat, less power consumption and a longer life expectancy because there is less stress on the components. Naturally, CA-PSU features over-voltage protection - every modern power supply does. We wouldn't consider it worth mentioning, but this protection is part of a more complex block to protect your valuable classic gear: There are two critical moments that need to be taken care of: Switching on and off. CA-PSU has a controlled 5V ramp-up when switching on, ensuring safe power-up of heavily-expanded machines. Traditional power supplies without such a controlled start-up ramp tend to "swing in" to the target voltage, which might cause malfunction or even defects. Further, switching off will start a short timer, ensuring that the next switch-on event can't happen until a few seconds after switching off. This ensures that capacitors in the computer and expansion gear are sufficiently discharged, and switching on won't cause 3.3V regulators of modern expansions to oscillate, which may cause severe damage. In the unlikely event that these elaborate precautions fail, CA-PSU is covered by a German product liability insurance.
