How are these brand new?
In 2016 840 Amiga users made it possible in supporting a Kickstarter to reproduce the Amiga 12000 case, the new A1200 cases are made using Injection Molding manufacturing technique to produce top and bottom shells as well as trapdoors and parts. The process implies the use of 3 new moulds, the first one is for the top shell, second mould for the bottom shell and last one for trapdoors and parts, all produced using brand new moulds.
Enhancements galore:
The Amiga community has never died and some have produced some great add-ons over the years to make sure the Amiga is still relevant and useful today as it was back in the 80's/early 90s and these cases take full advantage of that weather that's simply transferring your existing motherboard from your existing Amiga 1200 or have a luxury of installing a MiST FPGA Board. Below are few more enhancements: [accordion] [pane title="External CF Adaptor" start=open] A CF slot can be opened up on the side of the A1200 case to allow easy access to what would be the CF card within the A1200 itself. [/pane] [pane title="MiST FPGA Board"] MiST is a FPGA based modern board that implements classic 16bit computers like the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST and 8bit systems like the Commodore 64, ZX-Spectrum, MSX, Atari XL/VCS, Apple II, Colecovision, Sega Master System, NES, SNES as well as Arcade machines. The primary difference between the MiST is that its NOT emulation. The new A1200 case has mounts to mount the MiST FPGA within the A1200 case. [/pane] [pane title="Raspberry PI"] Yes you can mount a Raspberry PI 2/3 within the new A1200 case with the use of the mounts already part of the case for a nice clean solution. [/pane] [pane title="Keyrah V2"] [caption id="attachment_18644" align="aligncenter" width="300"]Keyrah V2 Keyrah V3 for the Amiga 1200/600, C64, VIC 20 and C16[/caption] Keyrah V3 is an IO adaptor that allows you to use the original keyboards of the Commodore Amiga 600 and 1200, Commodore 64, VIC-20 and C-16 within their respective cases. The purpose of this you can then install a Raspberry PI which uses the original keyboard of that computer and providing 2 x D9 ports. The new Amiga 1200 case has mounts are located at middle top of bottom shell. This location make the keyboard adapter available for Raspberry Pi or MiST board. Original Amiga 1200 keyboard ribbon will fit nicely just at the right place on the keyboard adapter board. I/O connectors are accessible through rear panel I/O slots. [/pane] [/accordion]   So what are the differences between the original Commodore case and the New A1200 case?
  • The plastic is more resistant to UV alteration. To avoid the case to turn yellow over time.
  • All screws are secured with metal brass inserts. No more broken plastic clips.
  • The bottom trapdoor has extra vents for a better case air flow.
  • 2 new rear trapdoors are available to accommodate VGA and DVI. The third one is a Plain door.
  • The case supports the following modern devices : Raspberry Pi©, MiST© FPGA, Keyrah© V3 keyboard adapter, RapidRoad© Double USB and Lotharek© HxC Floppy emulator, Flashfloppy

SNES Modding Service Region Free 50/60hz
SNES Region Free, Switchless, DeJitter 50/60hz Modding Service
SNES region free, switchless, deJitter DFO modding service. Free your Super Nintendo or Super Famicom from being locked to one region with this modification. Play any region Super Nintendo or Super Famicom PAL or NTSC and play it how it was meant to be played. What does the modification do?
  • Works with all revisions of SNES or Super Famicom games console.
  • SuperCIC: Lockout chip replacement 50Hz/60Hz switch capability.
  • uIGR - Use the controller to perform resets or 60Hz and 50Hz switching.
  • Region Patch: Overrides region protection based on picture processing status reads.
  • DeJitter: Removes jitter on sync for NTSC mode.
  • DFO: Dual Frequency Oscillator, used to switch between base clocks for 50Hz, 60Hz video-modes.
  • Premium ENIG (gold immersion) finish.
Full Details: SuperCIC By holding down the reset button on the console this will switch between 50Hz (green LED), 60Hz (red LED) or Auto-Region (yellow LED). If you have a SD2SNES you are able to pair the SuperCIC with the flash card. With this you are able to switch between 60Hz and 50Hz mode. However, you need to have the uIGR, which is master for the region setting, in SuperCIC pass through mode. uIGR The uIGR looks at the controller inputs directly and is then able to detect certain button combinations. All button combinations are highlighted below: Region forcing:
  • 60Hz: L + R + Select + A
  • 50Hz: L + R + Select + Y
  • Auto: L + R + Select + B
  • S-CIC pass through: L + R + Select + D-pad left OR L + R + Select + D-pad right
Reset:
  • Simple reset: L + R + Select + Start
  • Double reset (back to main menu of sd2snes): L + R + Select + X
Region Patch Overwrites region if game request register $213F, where bit 4 represents the region. You also have to consider switching off the region patch if using non-original cartridges or flash cards (sd2snes with Pairmode with SuperCIC is not a problem). DeJitter While in NTSC mode the SNES outputs a shorter scanline in non-visible area. This might be an issue for certain TVs if you use pure analog to digital conversion without frame buffer like the OSSC does. DeJitter ‘removes’ this shorter line by pausing the clock for a few cycles. As drawback this mechanic varies output timing a bit, however the inaccuracy is neglectable when comparing it to clock variations throughout different consoles. At the moment, DeJitter is enabled by default and can only be disabled by setting jumper SJ31. DFO Short for Dual Frequency Oscillator. Actually in combination with the CPLD this allows to switch between three output clocks plus two colour carrier clocks.   The service includes:
  • Testing of the SNES or Super  Famicom beforehand
  • Full strip down of the console
  • Full Installation of the SNES MultiRegion with DeJitter QID modification
  • Testing using PAL and JAP (NTSC) gaming cartridges
  • Final testing and video taken of unit working and switching.
We can also offer a full recapping service and regulator upgrade.

CA-PSU Commodore Amiga Individual Computers
CA-PSU Amiga A500, A500 Plus, A600, A1200
CA-PSU Amiga A500, A500 Plus, A600, A1200 (CA-PSU stands for Compact Amiga Power Supply Unit), where "compact" designates the three target computers A500, A600 and A1200. It is the first power supply on the market that fully complies with the original Commodore specifications, introducing cable drop compensation for best regulation that even settles the voltage drop in the input filter of the target computers. This means that the voltage on the main 5V rail will never deviate more then 0.9%, measured inside the computer - no matter if the computer is in vanilla configuration or heavily expanded. Conventional power supplies will either supply too-high voltage to a vanilla machine, or too-low voltage to an expanded machine, causing malfunction or even defects. This cannot happen with our cable drop compensation technology. Technical data in short:
  • 5V, 5A, ripple/noise 50mV max. (typically 30mV)
  • Overload on 5V tolerated up to 8A for 30 seconds
  • 5V load regulation <0.6% typical, max. 0.9% under overload condition
  • 12V up to 4A
  • -12V, 0.1A
  • Modern, high-efficiency DC-DC converter technology
  • Total output power up to 60W
  • Fanless, silent, extremely low heat
CA-PSU is a two-brick solution: One mains-connected power brick and the CA-PSU converter box with the switch and square 5-pin DIN connector to the computer. This moves the power switch a lot closer to the computer, reducing the probability of inadvertent switching, for example if the power supply is under the table near your feet. CA-PSU has the best overall efficiency on the market, with a worst-case efficiency of 80.1% (best case >82.5%). The best competing product peaks at just over 70%, and some original Commodore power supplies have an efficiency of only 55%. This means that with our CA-PSU, there's less total heat, less power consumption and a longer life expectancy because there is less stress on the components. Naturally, CA-PSU features over-voltage protection - every modern power supply does. We wouldn't consider it worth mentioning, but this protection is part of a more complex block to protect your valuable classic gear: There are two critical moments that need to be taken care of: Switching on and off. CA-PSU has a controlled 5V ramp-up when switching on, ensuring safe power-up of heavily-expanded machines. Traditional power supplies without such a controlled start-up ramp tend to "swing in" to the target voltage, which might cause malfunction or even defects. Further, switching off will start a short timer, ensuring that the next switch-on event can't happen until a few seconds after switching off. This ensures that capacitors in the computer and expansion gear are sufficiently discharged, and switching on won't cause 3.3V regulators of modern expansions to oscillate, which may cause severe damage. In the unlikely event that these elaborate precautions fail, CA-PSU is covered by a German product liability insurance. This new production run of CA-PSU includes an international power brick that directly plugs into the socket (no mains cable). International adapters included are:
  • Central Europe
  • United Kingdom
  • Australia
  • USA
CA-PSU is compatible with worldwide grid voltages and frequencies (110-240V AC and 50 or 60Hz).
