Apple Macintosh LC475 Recapping Service Premium
Apple Macintosh LC475 recapping service premium, all board revisions, all electrolytic capacitors are replaced. The Apple Macintosh LC475 logic board is recapped using high quality capacitors.
- Removal of existing capacitors.
- Clean-up and preparation of area.
- Replace all surface mount capacitors using polymer (non leaking) capacitors.
NOTE this is not a repair service, the logic board needs to be in working order as recapping is a preventative measure.
Amiga A1000 Recapping Service (Motherboard)
Amiga A1000 motherboard recapping service – NOTE this is NOT a repair service.
- Removal of existing capacitors.
- Cleanup and preparation of area.
- Replace using Panasonic/Wurth/KEMET or other tier 1 capacitors.
Recapping the Amiga A1000 is a good preventive measure, and with age they start getting tired which could lead to issues later on, remember these are 35 plus years old now.
All that needs to be sent is the Amiga 1000 motherboard. We do also offer a recapping service for the Amiga 1000 PSU
Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128k +2 +3 Recapping Service
Sinclair ZX Spectrum recapping service, the following models are covered using this service:
- Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K +2 +3

This is not a repair service but a maintenance service and boards should be in working order.

- Cleanup and preparation of area.
- Replace using tier one capacitors.
- Retest (Video, Audio)
Whole units can be sent (no need to send just the motherboard).
Amiga 2000 Gotek Drive, Printed Mount, OLED Display and FlashFloppy
Amiga 2000 Gotek drive is a great replacement for your failing Amiga 2000 floppy drive or you wish to simply replace it with a Gotek drive. These are plug and play and come pre flashed with FlashFloppy in that you simply remove your existing floppy drive and replace it with this unit (you use your existing bracket). 3 new screws will also be supplied to secure the Gotek drive to your Amiga.
You will need a USB memory stick (NOT included) with your loaded ADF files but we offer an option for a pre-configured USB stick below.
What are ADF files?
ADF files is the standard Amiga Disk Format for floppy disk images. no different to Sega or Nintendo roms, ADF’s are images of Amiga floppy disk games. Not only could you have access to a huge back catalogue of retro Amiga games, but there are still brand new games being released today, for example: Raid over Moscow or Bridge Strike these are all available as ADF files. But you not limited to games or programs, but you have access to tons of Amiga demos (if your into that scene).

Recapping service includes replacing all electrolytic capacitors of which there are approx 20 depending on the version.
Note this is not a repair service.
