Amiga A600 Junior Motherboard
Amiga A600 Junior Motherboard Fully Built
Amiga A600 Junior motherboard, version June Bug Junior Rev 1.3.1. The Amiga A600 Junior is a reverse engineered A600 board by Róbert Tihanyi and is a full A600 board reimagind with some extras and modifications added. A600 Junior is based on the Commodore A600 Rev 1.5 and has these enhancments:
  • Corrected PCB layout, removed “nowhere” traces.
  • Main Vcc rails stronger.
  • Informative silkscreen.
  • Values modified in audio (opamp) circuit, unior sounds better than a Rev1.5.
  • CXA2075M Video Encoder
  • DriveSelector. Like ReAmiga A1200 but it can handle all the 4 drives, DF0 to DF3. You can assign ANY DriveID to ANY physical drive.
  • R102 moved to backside. This is the “Vampore-resistor” which are the reasony why accelerator’s sockets needs to be grinded. You don’t have to grind anymore on a Jr. board.
  • HDD bay holes are now standard 3.0mm holes insted of the original oval. HDD cradles still can be used properly, but if not, you can also use them as mounting holes for accelerators. In this way, it is far more easy than on original boards.
Motherboard PCB, passive compoents arfe new, however the custom chips a some of the ports are recycled   ** A600 Junior board does not come with any metal shielding. or kickstart rom.   3 Month RTB Warranty.

ACA1221LC Amiga A1200 Accelerator
ACA1221LC 16Mb 68EC020 26.67Mhz Accelerator Amiga A1200
ACA1221LC accelerator Amiga A1200 and ACA500Plus comes with the 68EC020 processor (guaranteed to run at 26.67MHz) and 16MBytes physical memory. 11.2MBytes of this physical memory can be used as fastmem, and 1 MByte is reserved for a fast copy of the Kickstart ROM. The CPU speed can be switched in four steps between 14MHz and 40MHz. Overclocking the card beyond 26.67MHz will require active cooling and a very good power supply like the A1200 Boost PSU or the highly specced CA-PSU ; operation at this high speed is not guaranteed. The ACA1221lc features iComps IDE speeder technology that accelerates reading from the internal IDE port, this IDE speeder does not require opening the computer or even removing chips from their socket. The IDE speedup to PIO mode 3 is activated with a software setting and reaches a raw data transfer rate of 10.2 MBytes per second, which results in every-day performance of 3.6MBytes/s with fast CF cards. Fast hard drives with cache may exceed 7MBytes/s performance. The IDE speeder feature is not available if connected to an ACA500 or ACA500plus. The ACA1221lc is prepared for use with our forthcoming ACA2000, where it will provide up to 11.9MBytes of fastmem. More memory configurations allow for using Zorro cards without conflicts.   ACATool is required to unlock some of the features like:
  • MapROM - Load up other kickstart roms like AmigaOS 3.2 without the need of physical ROMS
  • Loading of the onboard Kickstart ROM file without losing valuable RAM
  • Control the IDE speeder,
And much more!

X-Surf 100 Network card for Commodore Amiga
X-Surf 100 for all Commodore Amigas with Zorro Slots
X-Surf 100 is a networking card for all Amiga computers with Zorro slots. For the Amiga A2000 or Zorro-daughterboards for the A1200, it will run at Z2 speed. If installed in an Amiga A3000, A4000 or the respective tower versions, it will run at Z3 speeds, which is up to five times faster than Z2. Key features:
  • 100MBit physical link rate
  • Sana-II device for use with OS2.0 up to OS3.9
  • Officially supported in the Linux-m68k kernel
  • Space- and power-saving design
  • Gold plated Zorro contacts and stainless steel metal bracket
  • Local expansion port for our high-speed USB module "RapidRoad"
Drivers can be downloaded from here. Manual here Wiki here Requirements:
  • TCP/IP stack such as Miami DX, AmiTCP, Genesis (included in OS3.9) or Roadshow
  • Sufficient RAM and 68020 CPU or higher
  • Kickstart/Workbench 2.0 or higher
  • File transfer method for drivers to be transferred to the Amiga
Transfer rates of over 1600kBytes/s have been measured with the X-Surf-100. Please note that the classic Amiga architecture and the current TCP/IP stacks for the Amiga don't allow saturating a 100MBit Ethernet link. Performance in your system may be slower due to CPU performance and programs running in multitasking. Please note that we cannot guarantee the X-Surf-100 to work in third-party Zorro boards as used in tower conversions, such as boards made by Eagle, Mikronik, RBM or Elbox. The X-Surf-100 may or may not work in these boards. Although the bus interface is designed to tolerate many mistakes that the vendors of those third-party boards have made, we can only guarantee proper operation in original Commodore daughter boards. Should the card fail to work in such a third-party board, you may have to close the Z2 jumper and downgrade to Z2 speed. For operation in Z3 computers, the Buster-11 chip is recommended. If there is only one DMA master in the Z3 system, a Buster-9 may also be used. Owners of the Merlin graphics card must have the latest hardware patches installed. Owners of the Mediator PCI/Zorro daughterboard must close the "swap" jumper. The X-Surf-100 is officially supported in the Linux-m68k kernel.

  • Removal of existing capacitors.
  • Cleanup and preparation of area.
  • Replace using quality capacitors.
  • Test output voltages (not under load)
Recapping the Atari STe PSU is a good preventive measure, the reason being these capacitors are under alot of stress (which they are designed to take of course) however with age they start getting tired which could lead to issues later on. All that needs to be sent is the Atari Mega STe PSU itself. [space_40]
